But I'm betting an awful lot of people are struggling to integrate these essential tools into their business, because they:
- Have NO idea of how to PROPERLY set up their list in the first place!
- Have NOT been shown how to MAXIMIZE their returns from each step in the process.
- Are building their list with the WRONG expectations.
- Are marketing to their list for the all the WRONG reasons, and
- Have NOT been taught the EFFECTIVE tactics to use.

Look... I reckon I've got a fairly good understanding of the basics and the realities of having an online business as I've been a full-time, self employed web designer since 1995!
And in early 2007, I decided to diversify my online enterprises into the Internet Marketing niche. So for about 14 months, I've been doing what newbies do... closely "studying" IM... watching all the "gurus"... trying to work out what makes them successful!
Like most "newbies" to the Internet Marketing scene...
- The more I investigated...
- The more questions I found that needed answers...
- And the CRAZIER and more frustrated I got!
So why is it that an Internet Veteran got so totally confused about the "right" thing to do with OnLine Marketing and List Building?
And if I was struggling, what hope has an "ordinary" person got to work this out properly???
There's just so much conflicting and incomplete information available out there on what is "supposed" to be THE essential ingredient for successful OnLine Marketing!
OK, I'm no spring chicken at 52, but I DON'T think it is senility that's causing the problem!
The one thing that was driving me towards total insanity is this "the money's in the list" expression!
I just couldn't get my head around it, until I finally realised...
